    Care to Talk

Caregiving International needs you to communicate and talk when you see wrongdoing against older people. Children are often in environments of trauma, and may think that elder abuse is normal. Using profanity, threatening, stealing, and outright physical harm is escalating in America.

Every state has Adult Protective Services and a hotline number. This number is free. The first place you should contact if you think an elder or family member is being abused in 911.

Our C. A. R. E. curriculum will hold forums and classroom discussions in order to educate our children that abuse to anyone is wrong. We will be vigorus in educating on all abuses against elders, while encouraging them to speak out against child abuse too. Children often live in fear. Elders live in fear as well, as many are dependent on someone else to care for them. Care dependency makes them more at risk.
